Skin Condition Right after the Completion of Laser Treatments
The look of your skin will be like sunburn for 24 hours after the completion of treatment. We suggest you the use of ice pack for 10 to 15 minutes in each hours. You can go for this procedure till 6 to 8 hours. After this your skin will be peel 2-7 days that will turn pink for next 3 to 6 weeks. Healing is completely dependent on the depth of treatment.
Skin Recovery Time after CO2 Laser Treatments
There are two types of CO2 Laser Treatments that are deeper and shallower. For deeper treatment, more healing is possible with more downtime and other hand for shallower treatment less healing with less down time is possible. According to our experience most of the candidates plan for two treatmentsthat are not too deep.
In some cases we have observed immediate results but the complete time for recovery of skin is 3-6 months. When your skin starts healing, it may take 3-14 days. When your skin has pink blush 4 to 6 weeks is the duration. In this you will have smooth skin with fewer blotches. When the natural color return, your skin will have fewer lines.
For eyelids the CO2 Laser Treatments are suitable and we do extra care of the candidate for safety measures. In market special laser eye contact lens are available, we use these lenses for safety of eye. We use numbing eye drops before the placement of the contact lens on the candidate’s eyes. A protective ointment is applied around the eye that creates a cushion around the eyelid. This layer of ointment is removed once the treatment is completed.

For less deep treatment, you can be off 3-5 days and for deeper treatment downtime is 7-10 days.
Number of Treatments
Number of treatments depends on the area of your affected skin. If you have potential to endure 10 days downtime, number of treatment may be 1-2.
